The Iglesia de Santo Domingo was founded in the XVI Century by the Catholic Monarchs, it is considered one of the best of the city. It was part of the Santa Cruz la Real Monastery, a place where the Holy Inquisition Tribunal held their festivities, and the burial place of families of the nobility of Granada for centuries. Inside, the temple is in the shape of a Latin cross with five chapels on either side.
