Convento Santa Catalina de Siena
Convento de Santa Catalina de Siena was founded in 1520 by the widow of the secretary of the Catholic Monarchs, Don Hernando de Zafra. Inside is a small Moorish house from the XIV Century, featuring a courtyard with Nasrid motifs and the cistern in the centre. The Renaissance-style doorway with its sculpture of the saint and family coat of arms is of great interest. The nuns prepare sweets and pastries which are possible to buy.
